Make your own kind of music on this Sunday night open line. I’m not sure I can endure more Republican debating. But duty calls, I guess. I’m beginning to think Mike Huckabee has a real shot at the nomination and, what’s more, he’ll he’ll deserve it out of this field. That is known as damning with faint praise, by the way.

I’m feeling a little old tonight. I put Fritz on a plane to the big city to seek his fortune, or at least work. He’ll have his sister Martha close by. But it’s true. You never stop worrying about your kids, no matter how old, bright and competent. Maybe, in a funny way, I worry more. After all, somebody’s going to have to care for me before too long. In today’s America, I can’t count on the government.
