A 2,000 foot high KATV transmission tower fell today at 1 p.m. The station has more information at its website.

UPDATE: AETN has sent out a news release that because its Channel 2 KETS analog transmitter, which broadcast from the KATV tower, is of course out too. Digital customers should still be able to get a signal. Folks in Central Arkansas who get only an analog signal should expect the station to be off the air for several days.
