The state Board of Education voted 4-1 today to put another charter school in Little Rock. Thanks to legislation pushed by the Walton billions, the state can cram Little Rock full of charter schools — with track record or no; need demonstrated or not. Today’s was the Covenant Keepers application. They got a five-year approval to operate. The calculated destruction of the Little Rock school district by the state continues. Board member Brenda Gullett apparently voted no, noting that LR already has several charters. Uh, yeah.
