Ron Fournier, whose Little Rock Capitol coverage proved a springboard to a career as one of the country’s leading political reporters for the Associated Press, writes a column nowadays. When Fournier speaks, millions hear.
So, though I linked this earlier, I thought his latest on Barack Obama was worth its own spot on the blog. Words like “arrogance” and “sense of entitlement” appear in conjunction with the candidate. He’s no kinder to Candidate Clinton, who he, of course, knows well. But he notes that Obama suffers in comparison because he’s presented himself as a new kind of politician. Sounds like you may add Fournier to the list of those who’ve begun to suspect that Obama might not be so groundbreaking after all.
