For those of you who only read the Times online, here’s a special plug for David Koon’s media column this week. It gets a little buried on our site.

Koon uncovers news that the Dem-Gaz is in the final stages of adding a new glossy lifestyle pub to its stable. The paper’s Paul Smith denies reports that it’ll be in the style of local pubs like Soiree and Inviting Arkansas.

But more titillating is news of another monthly that’ll focus exclusively on arts, entertainment and nightlife in Central Arkansas. Expose is the name. It’s publisher and owner is one Stefan Diamante, about whom this we know, courtesy of his blog, “The Steroid Diaries”:

“I’m an exotic dancer who has worked in several major markets across the country since I began stripping in October of 2001,” he writes. “Some of the more notable credits on my resume include: Men of Playgirl, Hardbodies Striptease of Denver (major players in the CU football recruitment sex scandal of a few years back), ‘The Maury Povich Show,’ and Hardbodies Entertainment Of Arkansas.”
