Arkansas Business reports today that Barington Capitol Group, the investor firm gearing up for a proxy fight to put its candidates on the Dillard’s board of directors, has asked to see Dillard’s books.

“Among the specific documents Barington wants to receive are those about the board’s decisions to “employ, or continue to employ, William Dillard II, Alex Dillard, Mike Dillard and Drue Corbusier as the top executive officers of the company …”
