Here’s a link to the most recent IRS Form 990 filed by the Clinton Family Foundation.
You won’t find anything that looks like expense coverage for the Clintons. You will find pages of contributions to a number of conventional charities, from churches to the Bush-Clinton Katrina relief fund. Check it out. Guidestar also has on file all the 990 reports from previous years, which tend to reflect similar use of the charitable funds contributed to the foundation. It is a self-directed charity, no more or less. Many people do exactly the same thing with smaller assets by setting up funds through the Arkansas Community Foundation.
