The Junction Bridge blinked open and shut over the weekend, thanks to Riverfest’s Riverfront Park takeover. You can, however, still get on the bridge from the North Little Rock side, we’re told by a security guard at the park. We’re getting ready to test that theory out.

Access from Little Rock might have been hampered even had the city decided to keep the bridge open after its Saturday dedication. The elevator, which takes walkers up five stories to get on the bridge proper, has already broken, we’re told. We’re trying to find someone with the county to confirm.
