Greg McKendry, the church member who was killed after he put himself between a shotgun-wielding man and a Unitarian congregation in Knoxville, Tenn., on Sunday, was a former Arkansas resident.

According to Sandra Brand, editor of the weekly Osceola Times, he’d been plant manager for Viskase Corp. in Osceola from November of 1987 to July of 1994.
