Anybody else watch the ex-gov’s new Fox show?

He opened with a public policy sermonette. Chatted with the Republican Elisabeth Hasselbeck from  “The View.” Had in a panel of Fox contributors to talk about the economy. Took some audience questions.  Plugged McCain. Dissed Obama. Dredged up Jeremiah Wright. Praised Palin. Plugged a capital gains tax cut instead of government backing of investment firms. Played in a band composed of Fox News staffers.

Flat, I thought.

UPDATE: As usual, I’m much too kind to Huck. “Uncomfortable from beginning to end” was how The Arkansas Project assessed it in a longer review. “It’s awful,” says another blogger. And here’s another rough review. Noted: the people who visit Huck’s website regularly liked it.
