Today, an interfaith group of clergy — Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcopalian, Jewish, Disciples of Christ, Unitarian-Universalist, Community Church — led by Rev. Lowell Grisham of Fayetteville issued a statement announcing opposition to proposed Initiated Act 1, which would make adoption and foster parenting more difficult in Arkansas. We are called by our faith teachings to protect children.  Act 1 puts our children at risk.  We encourage all Arkansans to vote NO on Act 1.
