Arkansas’s resident Queen of the Undead, Charlaine Harris — the Magnolia native whose vampire-themed mystery series was adapted into the well received HBO show “True Blood” — is headed to the Houston Public Library for a talk on Tuesday.
In recognition, the Houston Chronicle has this very enlightening piece on how Harris’ first book “Dead Until Dark” found a publisher, including comments from the writer, and some nice stuff from a Houston bookstore owner and friend who championed her work before she hit it big.
