Death Star Jason Rapert, the insurance salesman/revivalist who is living up to the standard set by the previous Bigelow senator Bob Johnson, failed in Joint Budget today to block implementation of health care reform legislation. Roby Brock’s report suggests Rapert, noisy though he is, is marginal even among his own. Federal supremacy continues to be honored in Arkansas for at least one more day.

So much for the Rapert “hold” on a state agency budget. He had once vowed to keep the hold on until they came around to his way of thinking.
