Republican freshman Reps. Tim Griffin and Rick Crawford are among those spotlighted by new Democratic Party advertising aimed at reducing the GOP edge in the House. Makes sense. They’d cripple Medicare and Medicaid and provide a balm only to millionaires while representing districts that typically haven’t cheered such right-wing orthodoxy. From Politico:

The independent Democratic group House Majority PAC is attacking eight Republican lawmakers with a six-figure radio campaign, hammering the GOP for a budget that “includes another trillion dollars in tax cuts for the wealthy” and “ends Medicare as we know it.” … House Majority PAC executive director Ali Lapp: “House Republicans like to talk about reducing the debt but the budget they voted for provides a trillion dollars in budget-busting tax breaks for the wealthy … The House Majority PAC will continue holding Republicans accountable for their backwards priorities.”
