Fox 16 reports on a closed administrative hearing today for Little Rock Police Officer Josh Hastings on his actions in the fatal shooting Aug. 12 of a car burglary suspect, a case in which he faces a manslaughter charge.

Separately, the police department is considering job action against Hastings for allegedly not telling the truth about circumstances of the shooting. Hastings has been placed on administrative leave.

A department spokesman says Josh Hastings has not been fired, however, his firing is likely to come soon.

Hastings will have the opportunity to appeal.
