We’re looking to do some short profiles of several Arkansas couples for an issue that comes out the day before Valentine’s Day. That means we need to find people willing to talk candidly about love, sex, romance, etc. Newlyweds, old couples, gay couples, bachelors for life, polyamorous groups, open relationships, divorcees, remarried couples, couples with fetishes, new parents, old parents, empty nesters — we want to know how you make your relationship work…or don’t. Some degree of candor is our only criterion (i.e. you don’t have to talk about sex to participate).

If you’re interested in talking to one of our reporters or know someone who might be, hit me up at lindseymillar@arktimes.com with the subject line COUPLES.

To get you in the spirit and for Throwback Thursday, check out a similarly themed cover from 1979. Except this one focused on how men were dealing with their mates joining the workforce. Former Attorney General Steve Clark and columnist Deborah Mathis (whose syndicated column the Times later carried) are among those who participated. Anyone know where any of the other couples are?
