One man was killed and another was seriously wounded by gunshots at the Quarter Note Club at 4726 Asher Avenue about 1:40 a.m. this morning.
The Little Rock Police Department said Jonathan Talley, 21, of Little Rock died of his wounds. Brandon West, 27, of North Little Rock, received critical injuries, the police said.
A police report said there were two suspects in the shooting, that arose after a “verbal altercation.” West was shot multiple times at the front door of the club. Talley was taken by witnesses to Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Two other men were grazed by bullets, the report said. Marijuana and large amounts of money were found in possession of one of the men who took Talley to the hospital.
ALSO: Police found the body of a dead male Sunday afternoon beneath the I-440 overpass of Springer Boulevard. The body was discovered by people “mudding” in a Jeep. No indication if the death was the result of foul play.
UPDATE: The frozen remains of the man have been identified as those of Ronald Edmondson, 55, of Little Rock, the State Police said. Cause of death has not been determined.
