Some time today, Walmart is supposed to unveil on its corporate website a new blog to communicate with stockholders and anyone else who wants to talk with the giant retailer. Public comments will be permitted, though it’s not yet clear if they’ll be pre-screened. the company’s existing Green Room blog, which focuses on environmental issues, will roll into the new site.

The City Wire talks about the new initiative. Walmart.com, by the way, is based in San Bruno, Calif., not Bentonville.

He said there will be blog contributions from across the entire company from marketing, shopper insights, operations, and even the executive circle.
