Administrators at Bentonville High School have located and sent home a student who they say admitted to writing a threat to ‘shoot the place up‘ during classes on Tuesday, KFSM reports

The threat was found this morning written on the wall of a girl’s bathroom at the school.  A spokesperson for the district said that a school resource officer identified a student as a suspect, and that student later confessed to writing the threat. The student’s parents came and picked up the student, whose gender and age have not been specified. A police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
