There are lot of endangered places, but the annual gimmick draws attention to some of the most notable.

Mound sites statewide: Mounds of native people dating back to 1500 BC are in danger from agricultural and industrial development.

The Central High School Neighborhood Historic District: It’s stocked with old homes in varying stages of disrepair.

In Hot Springs, the downtown district, the John Lee Webb House and the Thompson Building.
