The line is open. I don’t watch much World Cup, but I was pulling for Ghana today and they ended up drawing with favored Germany. I hoped for victory because of the joy it would have brought to this  fish market in Sekondi, Ghana, which I visited recently. The women bear loads of fish in metal bowls. Notice the bowl at lower right, painted with Ghana colors. Radios were blasting football matches when we visited.

Closer to home: Heirloom tomatoes have begun appearing in markets, also Arkansas peaches, blackberries and sweet corn. All is well with the world.
