The Monday night line is open.
* DIGGING FOR HILLARY DIRT: Says here that a veteran Republican oppo researcher helped guide the Washington Free Beacon through the University of Arkansas archival materials that led to a story breathing some new life into an old story about Hillary Clinton’s work as a court-appointed lawyer in a rape case 39 years ago.
* ENDORSEMENT NOTED: Dr. Lynette Bryant, the cipher of a Democratic candidate for governor, has endorsed Asa Hutchinson, he announced. Bryant, a medical college graduate who never qualified for a license and who was a Hillary Clinton supporter who said Mike Ross wasn’t a good enough Democrat, has decided the better option is a Republican who opposes just about everything any good Democrat stands for. Go figure this wacko. She got 23,000 votes in the primary, about 15 percent of the vote. Republicans on fake social media accounts were her main supporters. Her candidacy was long rumored to be a Republican setup. This doesn’t dispel the notion. But her statement, as distributed by Hutchinson, says he is a proven leader and she likes his ideas on education. She said he’d be bipartisan. Riiiiiiight. Here’s our earlier article on “Doc” Bryant..
The Ross campaign commented:
“Throughout the primary, Dr. Bryant attacked Mike Ross’ plan to increase access to pre-k, and she attacked Mike Ross for defending Head Start. So, she’s in good company with Congressman Hutchinson who has called increasing access to pre-k ‘irresponsible’ and ‘the wrong direction’ for Arkansas and who voted to cut Head Start.”
