The Koch billionaires’ Americans for Prosperity political lobby has a blog that’s currently touting Republican Rep. Tom Cotton as a “leader of liberty” for his 100 percent record on voting issues important to the Kochs. Important to Arkansas? That’s not part of the AFP’s interest. clearly. They don’t even know where he lives. And, truly, don’t much care, so long as he votes down the line for Koch interests. Which he does.

See this link on his voting record. Among the things the Kochs like are votes against the farm bill and food stamps and long-term federal aid to mitigate natural disasters. These are good for Arkansas if you think farmers, hungry poor people and natural disaster are irrelevant here.

UPDATE: The AFP has updated its post to put Cotton in the correct state, but the item still says, ” …. Tom Cotton serves in Arkansas 4th district neighboring fellow 100%-er Matt Salmon. ” Neighborly as Odd Tom is, it’s a long way from Dardanelle to Salmon’s 5th District of Arizona.
