One year ago today, Samantha Olson was killed by a gunshot as she drove at the intersection of JFK and McCain, North Little Rock. Her killer remains unknown and at large.
Samantha Olson’s husband, Eric Olson, posted about the anniversary on his Facebook page today, calling on people to search their memories for even seemingly insignificant details that might help the case. He also talked quite a bit about their daughter, Linnea, who was in the car when her mother was killed. From his post:
“One year. A long year, though it seemed to pass quicker than I expected. Watching children grow does that. And watching Linnéa grow would have amused Samantha so much, just as it amuses me every day. Linnéa is the real victim here, shot at, while she rode in the back seat, and left motherless for the rest of her life, a sentence for which she will serve the entire term. And without justice, what am I supposed to tell her when she asks?”
