Talking Points Memo reports
that Fox News will stop using Dr. Ben Carson as a contributor because of his plans to run for president in 2016.

Fox News features another Republican who’s said he’s thinking about making another race for governor — Mike Huckabee.

The weekly show on Fox by the former Arkansas governor is a major source of his livelihood. No word coming out of Fox yet whether Huckabee’s repeated trolling for presidential support will affect his exposure there. He’s even touted his Fox show as a plus in his exploration. Does cutting Carson loose while continuing to embrace Huckabee provide any tip on leaning of who the Fox leadership wants to be its candidate in 2016?
