Here’s a pair of Ku Klux Klan headlines from Boone County for your information:
* One of the founders of a KKK organization in Arkansas, Floyd Lewis of Zinc, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for possession of marijuana, being a felon in possession of a firearm and second-degree sexual assault of a 13-year-old. He was an incorporator of a KKK and a Christian Identity group in 2003.
* In Harrison (and I hesitate to provide even this snippet of free publicity), the white supremacists are back in the billboard business. Thom Robb of Zinc, leader of another KKK group, has leased a billboard for a year that includes a weblink to whiteprideradio.com, which redirects to kkkradio.com. Harrison had been roiled for a year by another billboard with a racially charged message, now gone.
A Harrison-based website that is friendly to the billboard messaging past and present, says this with a post of the photo above:
The Harrison Task Force on racial relations and the rest of their ilk, who proudly crowed about running the racists out, better think twice. Sometimes it is better to remain quiet and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
