Here’s an open line and today’s video. Plus:

* HEALTH ADVISOR: Gov. Asa Hutchinson announced today that John Martin, currently a legislative staffer for Sen. Tom Cotton, will become his senior advisor on health policy. Does this mean we should kiss the private option goodbye? Cotton hasn’t been friendly to a single aspect of Obamacare, including the Medicaid expansion adopted in Arkansas through the private option. His idea of health care is every-man-for-himself. Which, when you think about it, doesn’t need a whole lot of sophisticated planning. Martin has a supply chain management degree from Texas A&M.

* THE CHIMP IS NAMED: The Little Rock Zoo announced that an on-line poll had determined that the name of the zoo’s baby chimp would be Jumoke (joo MOH keh), Swahili for “everyone loves the child.”

* LIFE IMITATES ART: A defendant waiting trial was shot outside the courthouse in Canton, Miss., today. It’s the courthouse where the John Grisham story, “A Time to Kill” was filmed. In it, a father goes to court and kills two men on trial for rape of his daughter.
