The family of builder and real estate developer Robert M. “Bob” Wood has given Arkansas State University, his alma mater, $1 million for a sales leadership center for sales research and education.

The gift — presented by Wood’s widow Peggy, two children and a son-in-law — also will endow a professorship, finance student travel to national sales competition and endow scholarships. Wood died in February at 83.
