But has it? We see some of the ultra-right splinter of the Republican Party in Arkansas. But an unraveling?  It is undeniable that no Republican elected official, save Sen. Jon Woods, supported Trump in Arkansas. But they have climbed on board now, from Gov. Asa Hutchinson on down.

Trump’s unwillingness to follow the party game plan is appealing even to me, if only for the potential that he might surprise and break from GOP orthodoxy on one litmus test issue or another. Think his recent common sense remark on bathroom hysteria.

The Washington Post is mining the idea of a conservative split from the Republican Party, too.
