Dr. Doug Whitlock, who retired in 2013 as president of Eastern Kentucky University, has been named interim chancellor of Arkansas State University and will start work Sept. 12. KAIT reports.
ASU System President Chuck Welch said Whitlock will serve through June and be paid at annual rate of $305,000, pro-rated over the time served.
