LINDSAY SCOTT UA

An official news release from the University of Arkansas:

Lindsay Scott, originally from Fort Smith, will attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the fastest time to put on and take off a wetsuit. Scott, who currently lives in Farmington and works as a professional model, is a 2009 graduate from Walton College at the U of A. The public is welcome to attend.

There is no current Guinness World Record in this category. Scott worked with Guinness officials to create the category, and her time will be counted if she can put on and take off the wetsuit in 60 seconds or less.

What: Guinness World Wetsuit Record attempt

When: 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5

Where: HPER pool deck, University of Arkansas

Scott will wear a full jumpsuit with full-coverage undergarments underneath the wetsuit.

A number of local officials will be on hand to witness, time and verify the record.

Spectators may enter the HPER Building on Level 1, across from the Meadow Street Parking Garage.
