Arkansas Athletics

In response to my FOI request, the University of Arkansas has released the tentative contract deal with Hunter Yurachek, the man who’ll succeed Jeff Long as athletic director for the Razorbacks.

In addition to the $850,000 per year pay previously announced — guaranteed by a blend of private and university sources —, it includes a $200,000 signing bonus, $20,000 for moving, a loaner car, tickets to Hog games and membership in three private country clubs. The deal also includes payment of $350,000 to Houston for taking their AD. There’s an agreement on firing that isn’t immediately clear on what happens if that occurs for reasons other than cause.

Here’s the whole agreement.
