The State Police say men opened fire on a vehicle in Stuttgart about 7:30 p.m. Monday, leaving one dead and one wounded.

A news release said Natasha Russell, 21, of Stuttgart was driving at McKinley when an unknown number of men began firing at her.

Two passengers were hit. Robert Brown, 46, of Pine Bluff, was killed. Kevin Harvey, 56, of Stuttgart, was hospitalized with critical injuries.

No arrests announced.
