Quick note for Pulaski County voters: Audubon Arkansas will host a candidate forum on the environment this evening at its Little Rock offices on Springer Boulevard.

Emily Kearns, the field organizer for Audubon Arkansas, said the candidates in attendance would include the following, all of whom are Democrats:


*Rep. Charles Blake and challenger Darrell Stephens (House District 36)
*Sen. Linda Chesterfield and challenger Andre Pendleton (Senate District 30)
*Monica Ball and Joshua Price (primary candidates for House District 39, which is currently held by incumbent Republican Mark Lowery)
*Tippi McCullough and Ross Nolan (primary candidates for House District 33, an open seat)
*Annie Depper (House District 35, another open seat)
*Christopher Crane and Terri Hollingsworth (Pulaski County clerk)

Audubon Arkansas is proud to sponsor a free public forum on the evening of Wednesday, April 25th from 6-8:00 pm. The forum will feature candidates seeking office in Pulaski County, running in the May 22 primary election. Candidates will answer environmentally focused questions generated by the public and through a participant panel. The community will have the opportunity to present the candidates with questions at the end of the panel.

Audubon Arkansas was established in 2000 as a state office of the National Audubon Society. It is our mission to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth’s biological diversity.
