Dillards lobbyist and former state representative Dean Elliott, now running in the GOP primary for the state Senate seat being vacated by Sen. David Sanders, is aiming to ride the coattails of President Donald Trump to victory. Some Republican politicians are keeping their distance. Not Elliott, who sent out this mailer:
