A car hit a pole around 7:20 this morning, disrupting power to 840 customers in the Heights/Hillcrest area. Should have everyone back on by 3. We're sorry for the inconvenience on this warm Mother's Day. Working as quickly as is safely possible to get all service restored.

Mother’s Day by candlelight? A day after 5,800 customers in West Little Rock were without power for much of the day yesterday, 840 customers in the Heights/Hillcrest area are without power today because of a pole struck by a car this morning. Entergy Arkansas expects to have power back up by 3.
I’d watch a reality show about Heights mothers managing the holiday in the dark. You could call it “Heights Unseen.”
According to Entergy, the problem yesterday was “broken crossarms on two poles in back yards in the St. Charles neighborhood. Not sure what caused the break.”
At least they didn’t blame the squirrels.
