CAPITOL PROTEST: In Washington Wednesday

Both U.S. senators from Arkansas, John Boozman and Tom Cotton, pronounced yesterday after meeting with Brett Kavanaugh that they happily supported his nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court. Not so happy were demonstrators, arrested in mass for blocking halls outside Boozman’s office.

Kavanaugh is an ultra-right-winger and was part of Ken Starr’s panty posse during the Whitewater witch hunt. He’s a sure thing, in other words. And speaking of Starr, if you’re feeling a smarm deficit, he’s about to release a memoir of his Whitewater investigation, “Contempt.”  No word if a further memoir is coming of the period when he presided so badly over a massive athletics rape scandal at Baylor University that he got fired.
