Mayoral candidates Frank Scott and Baker Kurrus will face off in a debate that will be aired on KARK and Fox16 this evening at 6:30 p.m.

Scott and Kurrus are competing in a runoff election set for Dec. 4 (early voting has started today). Scott fell short of the 40 percent threshold to win the November mayoral election outright, securing 37 percent of the vote; Kurrus won 29 percent of the vote in the first round, squeaking by third-place finisher Warwick Sabin by around 500 votes.

The debate will be moderated by KARK’s Ashley Kentz and Fox16’s Donna Terrell. KARK promises a “fast-paced, 30-minute format.”
