Advocates for the minimum wage increase approved by 68 percent of voters in November are fighting back against Republican Sen. Bob Ballinger’s proposal to wipe out not only the 2018 increase but also an earlier increase approved by voters. A new social media campaign is underway to urge calls to legislators.

Ballinger, whose own resume includes tax and mortgage non-payment, despite a law license, money from working for the dubious Ecclesia College and $60,000 plus in legislative pay and expenses, says he’s deferring the measure for the time being. Eternal vigilance and all that.
