The U.S. attorney’s office announced another sentencing Thursday in the multi-million-dollar scandal of theft from the Arkansas Department of Human Services’ operation of
Thursday, Nigel Hall, 49, of Little Rock, got a 27-month federal prison sentence for fraudulently claiming almost $900,000 for feeding children at four sites. At two sites, no children were fed, a government news release said. At another, about 50 were fed. He claimed to serve 846 children per day.
This has become almost tedious to recount. He was the 17th person sentenced. Three more are awaiting trial.
