Hilary Hunt of KARK reports that the North Little Rock police are investigating the shooting of a man who reportedly pointed a gun at officers.

Details scant at the moment. Hunt reports that the man was in an apartment on Rimrock. When he came out, he reportedly pointed a gun at two officers who then fired. The man’s condition hasn’t been released. The officers have been placed on leave.

The police were called initially before 8 a.m. because of a man walking down the street pointing a gun at people.
