Two women were killed and a two-year-old boy was wounded after a shooting Saturday at 3112 S. Ringo Street, police said.

Officers were dispatched at around 1:38 a.m. and found I’Quira Tate, 21, and Brittany Tate, 24, dead at the scene. The toddler was suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body and was transported to Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

A teenager who was in the residence at the time of the shooting was not injured.

Officers at the scene were told that a male suspect entered the residence at Ringo Street and started shooting. Detectives are reviewing evidence and checking to see if there is any useful surveillance footage. No suspect has been identified at this time. The  investigation is ongoing.
