Do you like carbs or wine? If you answered no to both, move along because you are clearly a robot. If you answered correctly, congratulations, because you’re a real human being who is going to have a great time at the Arkansas Italian Food & Culture Fest.

Central Arkansas has a surprising pocket of authentic Italian culture stretching all the way back to the early 20th century. The best of that culture will be on display for three spring days — Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28 — in downtown Little Rock.

We can't resist without our readers!

The grounds of The Clinton Presidential Center are sure to be suffused with the sexiest aroma on earth: simmering garlic and tomatoes from the tastiest Italian food Arkansas has to offer. Plus, you can treat your senses to those heady Italian wine bouquets. Wine and dine while listening to live music, then tell yourself you’re working off those carbs playing bocce ball, BAGGO, soccer and a Waiter’s Race. You can even live out your “I Love Lucy” fantasy and stomp some grapes.

If you want to bring a little Italy home, take Italian cooking lessons while you’re there. Not to mention the chance to ogle Italian cars. Bring your Godfather references and Mario impressions if you must, but more importantly bring your $10 ticket fee, because all proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Central Arkansas.
