The lights will go on for more than 40 theme-decorated trees Thursday when the annual Festival of Trees brings Santa and plenty of parties to Clear Channel Metroplex, I-430 and Colonel Glenn Road.

The trees will be sold at both live and silent auctions at the CARTI fund-raiser, which has raised more than $1 million for the cancer treatment facility since its beginning in 1977.
