The local female rap and R&B revue Divas of the Rock at Revolution features vocalist Nicky Parrish, spoken-word poet Ms. Pinky and DJ Hy-C, 9 p.m., $12. With guttural vocals and just about every manner of stringed instrument, Pinebox Serenade explores the darker side of life at White Water, 9 p.m., $5. The Salty Dogs front man Brad Williams shows off his country tenor at an intimate show at Studio Joe, which also features local troubadour Kevin Kerby, 9 p.m., $5. Plu we hardly knew you. The young indie-rock act calls it quits with a farewell show at Vino’s, with a bill that also includes Sean Michel, Farewell Flight and Futuro Boots, 8 p.m., $7. Popular country singer/songwriter Wade Bowen comes to Sticky Fingerz with Sean McConnell, 9:30 p.m., $10. Local soul crooner Big John Miller leads his band at the Afterthought, 9 p.m., $7. Blues brothers the Eoffs stick around another night to play Cornerstone, 9 p.m., $5. Local rockers Notion headline at Juanita’s, 10 p.m., $5. Jacksonville blues-rock act Smokey Sam is made up of four C-130 flight instructors. They’re performing at Revolution to benefit Race for the Cure, 8 p.m., t.b.a. Because he’s the city’s celebrity spokesman (we’re baffled, too), country star Tracy Byrd plays a free show at the Hot Springs Municipal Airport, 8 p.m., free.

After last week’s warm-up show at White Water, local pop-rock heroes Ashtray Babyhead play their first headlining gig in more than a year. Don’t look to see the band for at least that long after this show. Smoke Up Johnny and the Moving Front open at Juanita’s, 9:30 p.m., $6. Local hell-raisers Go Fast release their first album in some years at White Water, 10 p.m., $5. At Cornerstone, roots band Sean Rock and the Toltecs performs, 9 p.m., $5. At Discovery, Michael Shane ups the BPMs in the club, while Kecia holds it down in Discovery, midnight, $10.
