Marvell Arkansas, a place where our cries for help go unheard. We cry out for your attention. We thrive to be noticed. We are punished and looked down upon for the activities that we do by force, but you think of them as our choice. I take a chance by taking a stance, we are remarkable beings and all we need is a chance. We try to entertain ourselves, but you give us no place to call our own. You take the ordinary things from us just because we don’t have a say. We can’t mingle in groups because you say we’re gangs, when all we want to do is hang.

Marvell my uncovered utopia, give me a decent park, with a basketball court so me and my friends can go play ball. Are we not worthy of a better recreation center? If you never help us how do you expect us to improve and help ourselves? There are two pools but we can’t swim in them, better yet build us our own. A new one we’re tired of hand me downs.
