I chose peas as my photo essay topic because it is a plentiful crop in Marvell. Not only are they eatable to both people and animals, but if grown long enough, they can be planted for more reproduction.

Peas are not only a good food source, but their way of growing is symbolic to us the people of Marvell. The symbolism is the root of our common sayings:
