All the big gourmet mags and the NY Times have written recently about the craze for red velvet cake in New York city. Just another Southern transplant, of course.

Correspondent Piney Woods provides the photo of a picture-perfect slice of same above. It is  from Kiss the Cook Restaurant in downtown Paragould.  Says Piney: “It was so perfect I had to take a picture of it.  Cake just don’t get no better than this.”
