Times homie Derek Jenkins is opening up the 24 Hour Film Fest model to the friendless and rural. In conjunction with Art Amiss VIII in Fayetteville, the contest is open to anyone currently living in Arkansas who has the means to film, be it with a cell phone camera or “expensive-ass HD camera,” edit and upload. A maximum of five people per team are allowed, but you can be a one man/woman show, too.
Art Amiss is using Vimeo, which if you haven’t heard, is waaay better than YouTube.
Here’s all the dirt.
Motivated filmmakers will be busy. May 3-10 is the Trip 7 Film competition in LR.
