‘HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: THE ICE TOUR’
7 p.m., Alltel Arena. $17-$50.

Surely, you saw this coming. The most insidious cultural phenomenon since, well, ever, had to come to ice. Not just because everything is better on ice (Disney golden aphorism number 143). No, this had to happen because it just makes sense. What is high school, after all, if not a skating rink? The cold sheen of popularity, the slicing blades of nonconformity, the pirouettes of love, the weird skin-colored spandex of awkwardness. Add some familiar song and (ice) dance that suggests your favorite scenes from “High School Musical” and “High School Musical 2” and you’ve got something special. So special, in fact, that you’ll have six chances to catch the show through the weekend..
